PRWeek James Maxwell Award
Prior to embarking on a career in journalism, in 2004 James Fryer won the inaugral PRWeek James Maxwell Award. The award was established by the leading magazine for the public relations industry to recognise and assist extraordinarily talented young people carve a career in the industry.
After being shortlisted down to one of four candidates, James Fryer presented recommendations on how to boost UK domestic tourism to a panel of senior PR professionals.

Full strategy report detailing a comprehensive strategy to improve domestic tourism in the UK. Includes a proposal centred around a community-focused website giving members of the public the opportunity to discuss UK holidays - based upon research that word-of-mouth is the most important factor when considering holiday destinations.
